How to persuade your prospects

Learn how to use the art of persuasion, can mean the difference between success and failure. Your persuasion power will earn the support of others and will help you get more of the things you want.

Most people are unaware that every human interaction involves a complex process of persuasion and influence. There are always two options: either you can persuade others to help you or you are persuaded to help them.

The key to persuasion is motivation. Every human action is motivated by something. Your job is to find out what motivates other people and give them that motivation.

People have two major motivations: the desire to win and the fear of losing. The desire to win motivates people to want more of the things they value in life. They want more money, more success, more health, more influence, more respect, more love and happiness.
No matter if you have a lot, always want more and more. When you can show someone how to get more of the things you want, helping you achieve your goals, you can motivate them to act on your behalf.

People also acts motivated by fear of loss. This fear, in all its various forms, is often stronger than the desire to win. People fear financial loss, loss of health, anger or disapproval of others, the loss of love of someone and losing everything they have worked hard to achieve.
So the best option is to show the possibility to win and avoid a loss at the same time.

Before trying to convince someone of something, take some time to think and wonder what that person really wants. Then, you can motivate to action, showing how you can help you get it.
Remember, people are motivated by their own reasons, not yours.

    I really liked the theme of your post because you talk about something very important in the negotiations ... persuasion. Often confused with manipulation, which involves deceiving others with tricks to perform a certain action.

    that rather than point out the difference between persuasion and manipulation, as this totally changes the basis for negotiation.
    If you have partners who follow you the most important thing is honesty, if not only get temporary partners, because sooner or later people will realize the manipulation of which were the subject.
