Businesses in the site are not a simple matter. Many think that having a blog is all resolved. Not so.
Each day is increasing number of sites that come and try to optimize their pages in the rankings of the web, so if you neglect this aspect of your site can literally be "buried" in the last places not likely to be seen by millions of people who are looking for content that you can offer.
With proper SEO strategy you can get the benefit of generating a high volume of traffic. Here's an example that only 10% of traffic coming to your site becomes a sale. If you have 100 visitors a day have a good amount of sales, however if your site only reach 5 or 6 people, chances are you do not or even a sale.

I read your article and related articles and apply a few plugins that I took to be better optimized in my blog and all blog has some purpose to sell but must first apply several SEO strategies to make you known and generate traffic as though you have a beautiful blog, good design, good articles, but if no one reads .. never sell

A few days ago I thought exactly this issue, and how we sometimes overlook that every day there are hundreds of new sites in our niche.

I think you have a very basic and true, you need to make sales visits. What many people forget is tracking. I think that generated 10% sales is being very generous. I also quite passionate about SEO. In fact it is the source of traffic in which I focus primarily, but without neglecting the others!
Google is and will remain (at least for a while) one of our main locations in which we position ourselves if we are to succeed in our Internet businesses.
What good have a nice site with good content and provide excellent products and services if no or very few people visit? No traffic as we customers, sales or how we generate income?
Simply impossible!
