Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. In Search Engine Optimization (SEO), the number of backlinks or inlinks is an indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page. These links are essential, because Google gives importance to the calculation of Page Rank or PR.
The best way to build backlinks naturally is to publish quality content, as the bloggers who share your same niche, you will be cited and interact spontaneously. Therefore the quality of the information content on the blog is a top priority.
Another excellent means of achieving these coveted links is included in the web directory. A directory that has an excellent reputation is called DMOZ, or the "Open Directory". This directory is probably the most respected directory online today. The only downside to it points to this directory is that it takes some time to include a website on your list.
But the easiest and fastest way to get "backlinks" is making use of Social Media. Highly regarded sites like Twitter, YouTube and Digg can bring lots of inbound links to your site.
When your post is shared through social networks, such as Twitter and is set in front of a large group of people, you get backlinks from these sites. (Here play a critical role tribes).
How to achieve a backlink from Digg? Very simple when you send a post to Digg, you're having a backlink from that place. But keep in mind that not only should send your post, (not want to be I, I, I,) when you find a post that has quality content, send it. So if you have not yet created an account on Digg, do it, you know what you're missing.

You always with very good information! The backlinks are a good strategy, and not be difficult to carry.
One way to use this strategy is to put the links of our blogs in the videos we make. Sounds pretty obvious, but many people forget!
Remember that YouTube is one of the most important pages in the world, so having links from there it helps to improve our ranking!
